The Burning Bowl Ceremony At Unity of San Antonio
Unity of San Antonio will offer a New Year’s Eve Burning Bowl Ceremony on Sunday, December 31, 11:00 a.m., in the sanctuary located at 1723 Lawndale Street, San Antonio, Texas. This unique celebration is free and open to the public.
This ceremony provides an opportunity for participants to let go of thoughts, feelings, events, and ideas from 2017 that no longer serve them. The ceremony begins with an invitation to review and reflect on our lives in 2017. After a time of meditation, participants are given an opportunity to write down on paper what they desire to release. Each person, in turn, places the paper into a fire. Burning this paper is a symbolic act of letting go, thus creating space for positive intentions for the coming year.
All are welcome to participate in this meaningful and powerful ceremony where you can gently release 2017, creating an opening for fulfillment of desires in the New Year.
