Donna Burkholder, Chair
Unity Church of San Antonio has been so blessed to have guidance and love from Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett over the past 13 years. We will miss her glorious smile, her intimate connection to each of us whenever needed, her leadership of staff and volunteers, and so many other special qualities she shared with us. Her legacy at UCSA (Unity Church of San Antonio) are our core values, mission, and vision statements which will sustain us through this change.
Your Board of Trustees we will be working to insure this change provides an opportunity for reflection on the future of UCSA. We can only do this with community input and support. We encourage each of you to share your thoughts with any of us at any time. To do so, click here to contact us. We will communicate with you throughout the process. To facilitate this transition, we envision a three-phase project; addressing immediate needs, a transition period, and permanent minister hiring.
Insuring that our children have a continuity of Sunday ministry is our top priority. We are working with Rev. Linda to insure we have leadership on Sundays through January.
Unity Worldwide Ministries has a transition coordinator to help churches find a transition minister. This transition period is critical for UCSA to contemplate who we are, where we are going, and what we need to get there.
We lovingly release Rev. Linda to her next best good and await with open hearts our next best good at Unity Church of San Antonio. Modified from Rev. Linda’s book, Divine Audacity we uphold these Truths prayerfully, with appreciation:
We Live in Faith
We See the Good
We Trust all is Well
We Expect the Best
