For Our Lending Library from Unity Spiritual Center Corpus Christi
Our community wanted to reach out to Unity Church of San Antonio, and especially your lending librarian, Bruce Culbertson. We’d like to convey our gratitude for your generous donation of duplicate books from your lending library, so that we could start one of our own.
When the books were delivered, we anticipated perhaps a box or two, and were not sure what kind of books to expect. Imagine our surprise when a total of five boxes of books, largely Unity classic books, were brought to us! We were delighted as we had no lending library previous to this.
As a service project, our Spirit Group set up the new lending library, just adjacent to our fellowship hall. We created a system for checking out books, and have announced the availability of the books during our Sunday service. People have begun to check them out and read them.
Having such a library supports our center’s purpose of providing a loving, spiritual community, dedicated to awakening consciousness and experiencing oneness in God. Focusing on universal truths, we shine our light throughout Corpus Christi.
