About Rev. Karen Tudor

Reverend Karen Tudor brings a rich and varied life to her ministry. Before her ordination as a Unity minister in 1994, she enjoyed a 20-year career in healthcare. She went on to serve as Senior Associate Minister at Unity of Houston for 12 years and Senior Minister of Unity of New Braunfels for 13 years — also serving as a hospice chaplain and on the boards of both the Unity South Central Region and Unity Worldwide Ministries. Since retiring in 2022, Rev. Karen has been exploring art, music, shamanism, and the national parks with her husband William — and savoring every moment with their 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren in New Braunfels.

I have been overprotective of my things all of my life, keeping them not only clean and put away, but just like new, if I could. I was intolerant of what is usually considered normal "wear and tear" of ownership and I suffered when something was torn or broken or lost. I had to learn that Life leaves its mark on our lives, in all kinds of ways, and that loss has its own beautiful lesson and power, when we allow ourselves to really let go and heal. Join me as we learn that “scratch-free living” isn’t the goal at all of a worthwhile life.
