Carol Brown

Carol grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, in a family that valued education, curiosity, kindness, and compassion. After earning her degree from Southwestern University, she married her college sweetheart, Ken. Following his passing, Carol’s spiritual journey led her to Unity of Columbia in 1999, where she found a loving and accepting spiritual home that deepened her faith and clarified long-held questions from her Methodist upbringing.

Today, Carol is joyfully married to her wife, Jennifer Busby. Together they share a lively blended family of six and a homestead southeast of San Antonio, where they raise animals large and small. She treasures her Unity family as a source of love, acceptance, and support, and is honored to serve on the Board of Trustees.
